Abstract
- The article discusses the "Perspektive 2025" position paper on the future of music, theater, and culture of Thuringia, Germany authored by Thuringian minister Benjamin-Immanuel Hoff. The alleged recommendation of Hoff for theaters and orchestras to reduce staffing levels in order to reduce overhead is criticized and comments are offered from theater managers including Guy Montavon, Hasko Weber, and Kay Kuntze of the Theater Erfurt, Theater Weimar, and Theater Altenburg-Gera theaters, respectively.
