Abstract
- Cites the efforts of the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture in Ibadan, Nigeria to stop the outbreak of the Cassava Mosaic Disease. Concern over the disease's ability to create food shortages in the cassava belt of the country; Presence of two precursory viruses that lead to the most destructive disease forms; Plan to produce disease-resistant cassava plantlets and cuttings.
