Abstract
- The article examines how subjects of Indian graphic novels are influenced by the hippie subculture and by modern, post-liberalization India's urban life. It explores the artistic and sociological impact of such literature on the subjectivities represented. Particular attention is given to "Corridor" and "The Barn Owl's Wondrous Capers" by Sarnath Banerjee.
