Abstract

Several photographs are presented depicting the U.S. civil war medicine in 1861-1865 which include Private Columbus Rush who had his legs amputated due to a gunshot wound on March 28, 1865, nurses in Fredericksburg, Virginia on May 20, 1864, and Mason Lumpkins discussing civil war medicine.
