Abstract

The article focuses on the efforts made by operations manager Paul Clement and safety manager Angie Saywell of the Theland Farm Group, to maintain safety of the 13 Canterbury farms owned by the Group in New Zealand. Some of the safety measures adopted by the farm are discussed. Clement informed that the health and safety policy helped the company assess the risks associated on the farm including the hazards that can kill, which were cattle, machinery and vehicles, heights and drowning.
