Abstract

The article offers information on handling the impact of smoke taint in the Australian wine industry. Topics discussed include the impact of the exposure of grapes to smoke from bushfires on the grapes, development of an early warning system for smoke exposure in vineyards, and collaboration of the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI). Also included are details on Agriculture Victoria, La Trobe University and the organization Wine Victoria for making equipment for smoke-affected grapes.
