Abstract
- The article focuses on the use of fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) pressure vessels for housing reverse osmosis (RO) system. Topics include FRP pressure vessels are stated to be produced from spools of fiberglass fiber and held together by a specific grade of epoxy resin that is cured at elevated temperatures, and today's RO vessels are stated to be available in a range of pressure ratings depending on the membranes being used and the type of water being treated.
