Abstract

The article discusses how the Massachusetts Association of 766-Approved Private Schools (MAAPS) provide special education to children with special needs. Topics discussed include stories that illustrate the range of ways exceptional children can make exceptional progress in school. It includes Jack Bram, a landmark School student with dyslexia but with profound love of music and Kennedy Day School's program to address communications, mobility and cognition issues of special needs children.
