Abstract

There are few studies on online programs that are taught in higher education institutions in Chile, therefore, it is relevant to know the evolution of e-learning and b-learning (blended) programs in Chilean higher education. On the other hand, studying the online subjects taught with new methodologies at the Universidad Andrés Bello, is relevant, because it is believed (hypothesis); that a good delivery affects high levels of satisfaction, which translates into an improvement in approval rates, student progression and therefore retention. A better delivery model, with good practices gathered from previous studies, will allow to boost the quality of online courses, allowing the institution to be prepared for the next step; and dictate 100% online undergraduate programs, with a creditable structure by criteria of national and international agencies, especially in the evening segment (working adult).
