Abstract
- Aiming at the serious problem of asphalt leakage in OGFC, three different types of OGFC were prepared and their basic performances have compared and analyzed. This paper systematically studies the effect of fiber type and dosage on the asphalt leakage of OGFC. Furthermore, the road performance of OGFC has further analyzed, combined with high temperature rut test and water stability test. Finally, we optimized the type and amount of fiber that had better effect on OGFC performance, which laid a solid foundation for the promotion and application of OGFC. The results show that adding fiber to OGFC can effectively improve the adhesion, high temperature performance, and moisture susceptibility. The amount of fiber should have controlled between 0.3%-0.5%. Among the different fiber OGFC, the OGFC-5 asphalt mixture mixed with polypropylene fiber has the best road performance, followed by cellulose fiber and polyester fiber. Considering the improvement of basic performance and road performance of OGFC, we recommend polypropylene fiber. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
