Curriculum receives facelift.

Focuses on the Social Studies K-3 Summer Institute, a four-day workshop hosted by Alberta Learning with the aim of providing teachers an opportunity to learn about the changes in the social studies curriculum across Alberta. Activities during the workshop; Manner in which the Aboriginal customs and history are passed down through the generations; Concerns of Aboriginal Elders and leaders about the content of the program, according to Josepha Vanderstoop, assistant director of media relations for Alberta Learning.
