Abstract
- Despite the impact of COVID-19, Michigan's average small business health insurance rates are set to rise only 1.5 percent for 2021, less than half the average rate increase of 3.6 percent this year, according to the state Department of Insurance and Financial Services. The individual market represents less than 6 percent of people with health insurance because Michigan still has strong employer-based health insurance. [Extracted from the article]
