Abstract
- The article explores public health and political issues in the U.S. in the midst of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Topics discussed include the COVID-19 emergency response of the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, the economic and social disruption brought by the pandemic, and the significant number of Americans that lost their health insurance due to the pandemic-related job loss.
