Abstract
- • The fungus Fusarium sp. LGWB-7. was isolated from the Harmonia axyridis. • Two new compounds isolated from the entomogenous fungus Fusarium sp. LGWB-7. • Beauvericin showed obvious inhibitory activity against K562 comparable to cisplatin. • Sesquiterpeniods and alkaloids are the main metabolites of Fusarium sp. LGWB-7. Two new compounds, named fusariumtrin A (1) and climacomontaninate D (2) , together with eight known ones were isolated from the rice culture of the Fusarium sp. LGWB-7, an entomogenous fungus isolated from the Harmonia axyridis. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by the analysis of 1D and 2D spectroscopic data as well as mass spectrum (MS). Compound 10 showed cytotoxicity against K562, A549, SGC-7901, and Hela human tumor cell lines with IC 50 values of 1.46, 13.97, 9.34, and 6.64 μM, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
