Abstract: The article reports that German-language newspaper "Nordamerikanische Wochen-Post," of Troy celebrated its 150th birthday October 2 with a special edition. It has become a weekly national newspaper with a circulation of 11,000 internationally. It's one of just five German-language publications in the U.S. Its 80-page commemorative edition provided readers with a history of the German immigration to the U.S., addressed the paper's role in Michigan's history and its role as a voice for German-Americans across the country.
