Abstract

• Face-to-face talking was the most important risk factor of SARS-CoV-2 transmission. • Persons aged ≥ 40 years had a higher risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection. • A crowded space and prolonged exposure may facilitate viral transmission. • 6.6% did not have any close contact with COVID-19 patients, suggesting potential airborne transmission.
