City Tourism Services with Mobile Geolocation Sharing.

Despite the fact that city tourism has become increasingly attractive, still the planning authorities undervalue it when developing city infrastructures, especially when extending Wi-Fi covering or other mobile location services. In this paper, we are discussing some problems that occur in existing solutions for mobile applications for city tourism. We check a hypothesis if sharing a real-time location of city visitors may be beneficial for choosing urban attractions. Further, we examine a new type of tourism application that is based on gamification models and location-sharing tools. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
