Abstract
- This essay shows some aspects of a research about the spreading of Max Weber's ideas in Italy; the research is focused on the years between 1920-1938. The hypothesis is that an interpretation of Weber's ideas is developing, which is especially linked with his reflections about politics and, therefore, with his unfinished analysis of the modem State. This hypothesis is maintained by showing how the first authors who dealt with Webers ideas in Italy, R. Michels, B. Croce, C. Antoni, C. Ansaldo, M. M. Rossi, A. Fanfani, E. Sestan, recognize the importance there given, in various forms, to the sociology of the political class and its related matters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
