Abstract

The local circulation of land-river breeze is formed in the riverside region due to the influence of the thermal difference between land and water. For the study of wind environment in urban riverside area, the influence of land-river wind cannot be ignored. Therefore, we propose a method to study the wind environment characteristics of urban riverside region under the coupled action of land-river wind and atmospheric wind. For an engineering example, we use STAR-CCM+ to carry out numerical simulation and method application, and establish the mapping relationship of the wind environment data between the meteorological station and the riverside area. The results show that: the MAE is 15.55% and 14.30% when using the (Realizable) k-£ turbulence model, which the results meet the requirements of calculation accuracy. Therefore, this research method can accurately obtain the basic wind environment data of urban riverside region, which has a certain theoretical and practical value for the study of regional wind environment.
