Abstract
- This paper aims to explicate the inequalities in education between Arabs and Jews in Israel. The main argument of this paper is that the Israeli authorities, addressing the Arab citizens, favored the ?conflict" approach in which education is used to indoctrinate the Arab minority and to mold its culture. The historical and demographical context of the Arab minority in Israel is introduced via the major developments in politics and education .Finally , the educational ethnic inequalities in Israel are presented and discussed as outcomes of the exclusive nature of Israel as a Jewish state.
