Construction of solitons and other solutions for NLSE with Kudryashov's generalized nonlinear refractive index.

In our study we implement an improved modified extended tanh-function (IMETF) method for constructing new solitons and other types of solutions with NLSE having Kudryashov's generalized nonlinear refractive index. Bright, dark and singular optical soliton solutions have been recovered for the model by this approach. Moreover, 3D and contour graphs are plotted for more illustration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
