Revisiting Personal Stories Through Connections to Daily Consumed Objects.

The author discusses the Daily Life Object Project (DLOP) which she developed to demonstrate the connection and presence of art in the daily lives of students. Topics explored include the facilitation of DLOP in the course "Exploring Art and Visual Culture" that was offered to non-art-major undergraduate students, the exploration of various art forms through the framework of material culture, and the observed changes in the attitudes of students toward the artmaking process.
