Abstract
- Monitoring Requirements Under the proposed rule (Table 2), covered water systems would be required to monitor for all six PFAS at EPTDSs using either EPA Method 533 or 537.1. EPA committed to evaluating available science to determine whether there is support for a PFAS drinking water regulation in its March 2021 positive regulatory determination for perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS).
