Combining Leisure and Learning to Improve Health and Academics via Canine Assisted Reading Programs.

The article presents the discussion on beneficial leisure-based learning tactic and animal-assisted interventions. Topics include specific skills or training interacting with a human being with the intention of promoting or improving social, emotional, physical and/or mental function; and CARP being socially emotionally, physically and academically beneficial for children with and without disabilities.
