Abstract

Will it also make tuner-car fart-can exhaust sounds, whistle at pretty girls, and maybe whistle "Dixie" too? If you simply floor the Cadillac from a stop, there's significant turbo lag, which is evident when you compare the rolling-start 5-to-60-mph times: The i4's 5.1- second result handily beats the Caddy's 5.8. We've tested the i4 eDrive40 and found that the CT6's blitz to 60 is actually 0.1 second quicker than the i4's, although the BMW catches up by 100 mph. Am I the only one who thinks fake engine noise played into the interior through speakers in cars with internal-combustion engines or electric motors is just plain stupid and clearly an indication of how really sad our society has become?.
