Abstract
- This article focuses on matters related to Canadian retailing for wedding purposes. Brides searching for the perfect thank-you gifts for their bridesmaids will soon have a new store to peruse on the Upper East Side. This fall, Canadian retailer Wedding Things will open its first U.S. location in a 1,000-square-foot space at 1039 Third Avenue. Wedding Things will replace longtime tenant Benkin Jewelers, which closed last fall. New York's Wedding Things will be modeled after its owners' store in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prudential Douglas Elliman represented landlord Coventry Development Corp. and Coldwell Banker represented the tenant.
