Abstract
- The article offers information on the evolving discourse around Irish Gothic literature, building upon W. J. McCormack's exploration in the early 1990s. Topics include the expanded understanding of Irish Gothic as a distinct aesthetic that reflects and resists nation-bound constructs, moving beyond its association with the Anglo-Irish Ascendancy in the nineteenth century.
