Abstract
- A study conducted at the University of Tabriz in Iran focused on the development of a new citric acid-based dendritic structure for the delivery of antidepressant drugs. Three different generations of citric acid dendrimers were synthesized and functionalized with lauryl alcohol. The synthesized dendrimers were able to encapsulate fluoxetine, an antidepressant drug, with the highest loading percentage observed for CAD G3-LAU. The study concluded that the synthesized dendrimers are efficient carriers for fluoxetine delivery. This research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into drug delivery systems.
