Iron Workers Local 396 apprentice wins national tradeswoman award.

Lily Seago, a second-year apprentice with Iron Workers Local 396, has received the North American Building Trades Union (NABTU) Tradeswoman Hero award. The award recognizes tradeswomen who excel in their field and perform their duties at an outstanding level. Former US Senator Claire McCaskill will be the keynote speaker at the Gutsy Women Gala, where Seago will be honored. Seago joined the union in May 2021 and has quickly excelled through the apprenticeship program, receiving welding certifications and becoming a respected member of the union.
