Abstract

A recent study conducted at Tel Aviv University aimed to determine if the follicular GnRH agonist challenge test (FACT) could predict suboptimal response to GnRH agonist trigger in non-medical oocyte cryopreservation cycles. The study included 91 women undergoing non-medical fertility preservation. The results showed that suboptimal response to agonist trigger, as assessed by post-trigger LH levels, was rare. The researchers concluded that FACT could be used as a tool to predict adequate LH levels elevation after agonist ovulation trigger, particularly in high responders. Further studies should focus on optimizing agonist trigger efficacy assessment and prediction. [Extracted from the article]
