Abstract

A recent study conducted by the University of Bordeaux in France has shed light on the health status of travelers, a population that often faces poorer health due to precarious living conditions. The study aimed to address the invisibility of travelers in public health policy and planning by involving researchers, decision-makers, associations, and volunteer travelers in the research process. The participatory approach resulted in a high level of participation, acquisition of knowledge and skills, and increased awareness of health issues among respondents. The study emphasizes the importance of involving stakeholders in the governance of research projects, particularly when working with socially excluded populations. [Extracted from the article]
