Abstract

A study conducted at Hangzhou Xixi Hospital in China explored the relationship between electrocardiogram (ECG) results and serum protein, transaminase, and chest CT findings in male AIDS patients. The study found that 61.48% of the 122 male AIDS patients had abnormal ECGs. Decreased albumin levels were associated with a higher prevalence of tachyarrhythmia, and elevated transaminase levels were linked to a higher incidence of tachyarrhythmia. Additionally, pulmonary inflammation was found in 48.36% of patients, and tachyarrhythmia was more prevalent in this group. The researchers concluded that ECG monitoring can provide valuable guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment. [Extracted from the article]
