Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Navamindradhiraj University in Bangkok, Thailand, focused on the metabolic profiling of the antipsychotic drug haloperidol and its potential toxic effects on brain microvascular endothelial cells (BMVECs). The study aimed to gain a better understanding of the metabolic consequences of high-dose haloperidol and identified 62 significant metabolites linked to the toxic response in BMVECs. The findings provide insights for refining the clinical application of haloperidol and developing personalized medicine and novel therapeutic strategies. The research was supported by Navamindradhiraj University Research Fund and has been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
