Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University in China analyzed the global research status, hotspots, and trends of anterior shoulder dislocation using bibliometric analysis. The study found that anterior shoulder dislocation is the most common type of shoulder dislocation and can easily become recurrent, leading to a burden on society. The research output on anterior shoulder dislocation has been increasing over the past two decades, with a focus on surgical treatment. The study suggests that surgical treatment will likely continue to be a research hotspot in this field in the future. [Extracted from the article]
