Abstract
- A recent study conducted by the Department of Orthopedics explored the diagnostic value of MRI combined with mannose-binding lectin (MBL) for spinal tuberculosis (STB). The study included 124 patients suspected of having STB, who were divided into STB and non-STB groups based on their pathological diagnosis. The results showed that both MRI and MBL had diagnostic value for STB, but their combined use resulted in higher diagnostic accuracy than using either one alone. The sensitivity of MRI combined with MBL diagnosis was 96.61%, and the specificity was 92.31%. [Extracted from the article]
