A research report from the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University discusses the role of sulodexide (SDX) in inhibiting neointimal hyperplasia of arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) in rats with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The study found that SDX treatment reduced neointimal hyperplasia in AVFs and increased the expression of pYAP while decreasing the expression of CTGF.
