Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers from Islamic Azad University in Iran explored the impact of role-playing activities on the social adjustment and communication skills of deaf students. The study involved 30 participants between the ages of 14 and 18, who were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received role-playing training over a period of ten sessions, while the control group did not. The results showed that the role-playing training group experienced significant improvements in positive affect, negative affect, and social adjustment, suggesting that role-playing interventions can effectively address emotional challenges faced by deaf students.
