Abstract

A study conducted by researchers at the University of Gondar in Ethiopia examined the spatial, temporal, and spatiotemporal distribution of diarrhea incidence among children under the age of five in the Central Gondar zone. The study found that diarrhea is a significant public health threat for young children and is the second leading cause of death worldwide. The research identified specific districts with high rates of diarrhea and recommended the development of intervention and prevention strategies in these areas to reduce mortality and morbidity among children under five. The study provides valuable insights for public health efforts in Ethiopia. [Extracted from the article]
