Abstract
- A recent study conducted by King Saud University aimed to increase awareness about male reproductive health and dispel misconceptions about erectile dysfunction (ED). The study involved a live online poll during a webinar attended by healthcare professionals (HCPs) from various specialties. The poll revealed that HCPs perceive phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5is) as a means to manage ED rather than a complete cure. It was also found that adherence to ED medication may decline on days without planned sexual activity, and the daily schedule of treatment may be burdensome for some patients. Overall, the study provides insights into the perspectives of HCPs regarding the usage of PDE5is for ED treatment. [Extracted from the article]
