Abstract
- A study conducted at Foundation University Medical College in Pakistan explored the use of Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) as a diagnostic marker for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). The study recruited 30 cases of PCOS and 30 age-matched controls, measuring AMH and testosterone levels in both groups. The researchers found that AMH can be used as an independent screening marker for PCOS, with an optimal cut-off point of 3.22ng/mL. This finding could potentially reduce inconvenience and financial burden for patients and the healthcare system. [Extracted from the article]
