Abstract

Researchers at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand have conducted a study on the impact of Clostridium butyricum probiotic feed additive on sow and piglet performances. The study found that the use of C. butyricum probiotics in sows improved sow body condition and reduced the incidence of diarrhea in piglets. The researchers also observed changes in the milk composition of the sows, indicating potential benefits of C. butyricum as a feed additive in swine production. Further investigation is needed to fully understand these findings. [Extracted from the article]
