Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Paris Saclay examined the use of a decision support system in fluid therapy during major hepatic resection surgery. The study aimed to determine if using this system could decrease arterial lactate levels compared to a more restrictive fluid strategy. The study found that patients managed with the decision support system had lower arterial lactate concentrations at the end of surgery. However, further research is needed to make conclusive recommendations for clinical practice. [Extracted from the article]
