Abstract
- Researchers from Capital Medical University have conducted a study investigating the association between the Triglyceride-Glucose (TyG) index and Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, as well as the correlation between the TyG index and all-cause mortality. The study utilized data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and found a significant positive correlation between the TyG index and an elevated risk of H. pylori infection. Additionally, a higher TyG index was linked to increased all-cause mortality in individuals with H. pylori infection. However, no significant association was observed between the TyG index and all-cause mortality in individuals without H. pylori infection. [Extracted from the article]
