Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers from Nanchang University explores the drug interaction between Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) and warfarin, the main active ingredient of Panax notoginseng. The study found that PNS accelerates warfarin metabolism and reduces its efficacy by downregulating miR-214-3p, leading to increased expression of the target gene NR1I3. These findings provide new insights for clinical drug applications to avoid adverse effects. The study highlights the importance of understanding drug interactions, particularly with the increasing use of combinations of herbs and drugs. [Extracted from the article]
