Abstract

A recent study conducted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong compared the effectiveness of telerehabilitation with conventional in-person rehabilitation in patients who underwent total knee replacement surgery. The study found that telerehabilitation was comparable to conventional rehabilitation in improving pain and physical function outcomes. Additionally, telerehabilitation was found to be a more cost-effective alternative, with lower utilization of hospital resources and costs. This research provides evidence for the potential benefits of telerehabilitation in post-surgical knee replacement patients. [Extracted from the article]
