Abstract

The article discusses the Educator Well-Being Program (EWP), which aims to improve the well-being of educators by addressing the root causes of their stress and implementing changes within schools. The program utilizes a collaborative approach, involving school employees such as teachers, administrators, and school psychologists. The EWP follows a Learn, Plan, Improve process, which involves understanding the factors affecting educators' well-being, creating sustainable solutions, and implementing and evaluating those solutions. School psychologists are well-suited to lead the EWP due to their knowledge and skills. The article provides an example of how a school psychologist could use the EWP within a school climate committee. While the EWP has shown improvements in participating schools, it is important to acknowledge that school psychologists also face their own well-being issues. The article concludes by addressing potential barriers and providing resources for further information. [Extracted from the article]
