Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Stanford University focused on understanding immune evasion in high-grade serous tubo-ovarian cancer, a type of ovarian cancer. The study utilized single-cell spatial and perturbational transcriptomics to map the spatial organization of cancer cells and identify genetic perturbations that trigger immune evasion. The researchers found that certain genetic perturbations sensitize ovarian cancer cells to T cell and natural killer cell cytotoxicity. This study provides valuable insights into the mechanisms of immune evasion in ovarian cancer and offers potential targets for immunotherapies. [Extracted from the article]
