Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Lanzhou University in Gansu, China, explored the impact of using angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) and angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) on the survival of hypertensive patients with cancer. The study found that patients with certain types of cancer who used ACEIs or ARBs had significantly increased survival times, except for those with breast cancer and uroepithelial carcinoma. The research suggests that further investigation into the mechanisms of action of these drugs could lead to novel therapeutic options and improve the prognosis of cancer patients in the future.
