Abstract

A study evaluated the effectiveness of a tailored sleep education program for young athletes to improve sleep quality, mood, and academic performance. The program included staff, family, and individual sessions focusing on healthy sleep habits. Results showed that athletes aged 12-25 experienced improvements in sleep quality and duration, leading to enhanced academic performance, while those aged 7-11 did not benefit from the intervention. The study has not been peer-reviewed and more information can be found at medrxiv.org. [Extracted from the article]
