Abstract

A recent qualitative study conducted by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) explored the experiences of postpartum follow-up and participation in a lifestyle intervention after gestational diabetes. The study involved in-depth interviews with 22 women in Norway who had gestational diabetes, focusing on factors that could improve intervention programs and postpartum support. The findings highlighted the importance of adequate information, individualized help, and support from others in motivating women to make and maintain healthy lifestyle changes. This research aims to inform the development of future intervention programs for women who have experienced gestational diabetes. [Extracted from the article]
